August 23, 2013: This the Florida Room that
is behind the kitchen with a pass-through window. The two sets of sliding doors on
the left lead to the living room area and the master bedroom down at the far end on the
left. Vertical blinds are everywhere in this room. The previous owner
probably had a television set down at the end where some of the vertical blinds are cut
short. There is a CATV cable in that corner. That wall of glass there is 180
inches wide. There are FOUR sliding glass doors with screen doors on the right side
of this room facing north toward the abandoned golf course.
This view is from the northwest corner of the Florida Room looking toward the
kitchen and the door to the inside of the house. There is a box of spare floor tiles
behind that door to the kitchen. The sliding glass door to the living room is
visible at the far right side of this photo.
This view inside is looking from near the refrigerator in the kitchen area.
There is plenty of room for a dining table to my right out of this photo. The
computer desk with the wi-fi transmitter will be on that bare wall ahead. There is a
cable TV outlet and a power outlet there. The other side of that wall is where the
guest bath is located. There is a closet with both bi-fold doors open in that short
hallway and two more bedroom doors are visible. That first door on the right goes
to one of three bedrooms on this side of the house. It will become my office where I
am now creating this part of the web site on August 6, 2014. The two bedrooms on the
east side of the house have 18-inch tile floors that use the same style of tile. The
wood laminate floor that came from the front door covers this room, the guest bathroom and
the unseen third bedroom, the door to which is just barely visible at the end of the hall.
I turned the camera to my left to see the north half of the kitchen. That
is the handle to the freezer door at the very left edge of this photo.
Here is the view of the south side of the kitchen. Those cabinets have so
much room for pots and pans down low and a whole lot of other things. I removed the
under-counter can opener. There are hidden fluorescent lights under the white
cabinets.
This is the inside of what became my office. It has another closet on
that wall partially visible at the right side of this photo. My desk now sits under
that window with a view to the east. The table with my printer is to the left.
I have a high-top cabinet with two drawers under the top surface and two doors to a
storage area below. All three pieces of furniture that now occupy this office are on
wheels.
This is the guest bathroom. That mirror on the wall that shows me taking
this photo was at one time a door to the outside area. The big mirror above the sink
and vanity is reflecting into that mirror at the missing door and showing the glass door
to the tub and shower combo. That light switch to the right side of the door
activates a flood light on the outside wall to light up the patio and the barbecue grill
out there. The floor is wood laminate.
This is the back bedroom beyond the guest bath. It appears to have been
an office at one time. It has a window facing west on the left and one facing north.
There is a closet on the wall to the right side of this photo. This is the
only bedroom with laminate flooring.
This is the south wall of this bedroom with plenty of shelves and TWO cable TV
outlets. I get the idea that one of them had the cable modem attached and the other
was for a television set. The shelves will be coming down and the room will be
spackled and re-painted. It will become our guest bedroom when we get moved into
this wonderful house.
This is the other large bedroom on the northeast corner of the house. I
am taking this photo while standing at the doorway to the bathroom with a shower located
in between the room that is my office and this bedroom. That wall vent near the
floor is one of the air return vents to the air conditioner. All the bedrooms have a
vent like that. The tile floor in this room is identical to the tile in my office
next door to the south.
I took this photo of the bathroom between the office and the second master
bedroom seen in the photo above. The full-size shower does not have a bath
tub. It does have several shower heads on separate valves. All those shower
heads were turned on many times in the first month we lived here. The water bill was
too big and now things are normal with only one shower head being used for bathing.
The sink and vanity are under the window on the outside wall. That large white area
on the right side of this photo is the door frame to the office. That pocket door at
the left edge of this photo is now closed and locked as I now have a file cabinet on
wheels against it with a printer on top.
Here is the sink and vanity in that bathroom. Pocket doors are on both
sides of the bathroom. I am taking the photo while standing in my future office with
the pocket door open on this side.
